I had a client who started to notice that he feared going to work. It was embarrassing for him because, in general, enjoyed his work. His energy and enthusiasm have been included and was ruminating about quitting, though he knew he needed to continue working.
He tried several changes to reverse the downward trend. For example, during the morning commute, he spent listening to new songs to sing his favorite, he tried to change her exercise routine, even driving a different route to work to make things happen. No luck. Returning to his office every day building began to look like walking the plank.
As I listened to describe his work, it was clear that he did not hate. We decided that rather than developing a larger area, Fix-it strategy, we look for clues to discover what works well in his life. Find the right to give clues to strategies that could apply his professional life.
